Xeomin

Treat Forehead Lines and Wrinkles in Elyria, OH

Xeomin is a neuromodulator, similar to Botox. Both injectables make use of Botulinum toxin’s unique properties to inhibit muscle contractions for months at a time. Reduced movement means reduced visibility of frown lines – even when the surrounding active facial muscles are working to create a specific expression.

All of our Medical Aesthetics treatments are performed by a Medical Aesthetics Certified Doctor.

Xeomin-Elyria

What is Xeomin?

Xeomin is a prescription medication intended for adults (18+) who want a more youthful appearance, but who are looking for a solution that does not require surgery.

The active ingredient in Xeomin, botulinum toxin Type A, is highly purified and approved by the FDA for treating moderate to severe frown lines (medically known as glabellar lines).

Xeomin is different from other neuromodulators because it lacks the extra proteins found in the other brands. Its formula makes it ideal for women and men who may not get the results they are hoping for from other options, or for those who have used other injectables for some time and no longer enjoy the same degree of effects.

Risks & Side Effects

Headache was the most common side effect of Xeomin for treatment of glabellar lines.

Other possible side effects include:

– dry mouth
– discomfort or pain at the injection site
– tiredness
– neck pain
– muscle weakness
– eye problems, including: double vision, blurred vision, drooping eyelids, swelling of your eyelids, and dry eyes. Reduced blinking can also occur. Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you have eye pain or irritation following treatment.

Xeomin may cause other serious side effects including allergic reactions. Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include: itching, rash, redness, swelling, wheezing, asthma symptoms, or dizziness or feeling faint. Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you get wheezing or asthma symptoms, or if you get dizzy or faint.
